Life has been pretty hard these past few months with Sir’s leg and Us both adjusting to the new ‘norm’, longer times apart, life getting busy and generally running Us down, plus ill health on both Our parts
Life really does suck at times!!!
However, one thing I keep hearing and repeat to myself regularly is that it doesn’t last forever.
We hear people talking about the ‘January Blues’ and/of how difficult they are finding life. Yet how many of us know how to help ourselves, let alone others? Self care, staying well or getting yourself well again, as well as keeping busy with things that make you happy and you enjoy are good ways to start š
My Mum used to say ‘When life gives you lemons, make lemonade’ (easier said than done)
My version has become ‘when life gives you lemons, throw them back harder!’ šš
Staying strong both mentally and physically is far from easy, especially when apart from Sir. We can both be well and yet life, other commitments keep Us apart or one/other of Us is unwell and We can’t get to each other to help like We wish We could… Sometimes, all I want to do is drop everything and go to Sir’s side or lie in His arms!!
Reality is a bitter pill to swallow and yet We both knew what We were getting into when We first began Our journey together. Even before I was Collared.
Putting wants and needs aside on occasion, is a small price to pay for the quality time We do get together.
We appreciate each other more, I could even say that We feel closer (if that is even possible š). Our time isn’t taken for granted and never feels long enough as it draws to a close…… Until next time
This is where I remember that even though life may seem tough right now, it won’t last forever.
There are many things to look forward to, many things yet to do and accomplish. Many more Tao/pixie times to come for many years to come!
So, until next time …..
Wishing all my readers and followers and Happy and prosperous 2023
